Terms of use
These terms apply to the current public-beta version of Five Minute Arcade. By using it, you agree to use the Site lawfully and fairly.
Entertainment service
The arcade is provided for casual entertainment. Features may be changed, paused or removed during testing. Availability is not guaranteed.
Scores, attempts and free runs
Each visitor receives one free Five-Minute Run per browser-local calendar day. Starting through the Daily Challenge uses that same free run and does not grant a second five-minute session. The calendar day is determined by the local date reported by the player’s browser or device, so clock, daylight-saving or time-zone changes can affect when a new local day is recognised. Run Scores, locally stored personal bests, streaks, Daily Challenge history and this free-run limit are device-based and are not independently verified. They have no monetary value, are not trusted competitive rankings and cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes or services.
Acceptable use
Do not automate plays, interfere with the timer, attempt to compromise the Site, overload its services, misuse future advertising, or use the arcade in a way that harms other visitors or the service.
Intellectual property
The arcade’s design, branding and original code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Familiar game concepts remain associated with their respective origins and are implemented here as original web-game experiences.
Liability
The Site is supplied on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the project is not responsible for lost browser progress, interruptions or indirect losses arising from use of the beta.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Updated terms will be published here when commercial features, accounts or other material changes are introduced.
